Our founders met around 15 years ago and have remained close friends to this day. They quickly learned that they shared the same passion for the outdoors and what it means to be a true hunter/conservationist.
Some of their greatest memories and stories come from spending time in the outdoors with others who share the same enthusiasm. They both felt at home in the outdoors and when they weren’t in the wild, they were eagerly planning their next hunting trip in anticipation.
About a year ago, they decided that they wanted to share their passion with others by creating an everyday wear apparel line for hunters. That way, even if you’re not in the field, you can wear a brand that represents your passion as a hunter and lets others know that you would much rather be in the great outdoors.
Our founders wanted a word that would represent people from all walks of life who share the burning fire inside that drives them to step away from their day-to-day lives and into the wilderness to test themselves against Mother Nature in search of their quarry.
Thus, Indomitus Outdoors was born. The word Indomitus is rooted in the Latin language and translates to wild, untamed and ungovernable. They felt that the word Indomitus truly sums up those of us who live busy lives but are always thinking about our next opportunity to get back out into the wild. You can wear our apparel with pride knowing that it is made by hunters, for hunters.
